My Best Salon Experience at Danielle Salon

Finally, I found a beauty salon where I can feel at home. It is 2 rides away from me but I wouldn't mind going back regularly because I really liked the entire experience.

Danielle Salon is not very high end. In fact, even the masses can afford most of its services; however, I can say that their accomplishment of work is first class. If you belong to the high end type of salon customer, trust me, you will appreciate the cozy ambiance, the facility and the accommodations they provide.

The staff are very friendly and I was treated like a queen. They really work fast, which is very advantageous for busy people like me who always need to rush somewhere after a beauty treatment. In spite of the fact that everything here is fast-paced, you can rest assured that the quality you'll get is excellent.

The whole space is clean and though it's not that big, it is quite comfortable. Besides, it's air-conditioned and they have their own comfort room. Know for a fact that I will never like staying in a disordered and messy salon.

Presenting my new hairstyle. I had to get a haircut because my team will be having a pictorial this coming Saturday. I am happy with the result. Prior to this, I had a hot oil treatment too. My hair looked straighter and very shiny right after that. My kids thought it was rebonded. I only paid PhP70 for the haircut, which comes along with shampoo and blow dry. The quality is equivalent to the one I had at David's Salon for PhP350. For the hot oil treatment, I only paid PhP149. Imagine how much money I saved.

Manicure for only Php49 and pedicure for only PhP70. My nails looked like they just came from Posh Nails. What's amazing about their manicure and pedicure is that the polish is long-lasting. One thing I hate about getting cheap mani-pedi is that the polish would immediately peel-off the same day or the following day. I am impressed because when I went home and had dinner, I washed the dishes and the polish is still intact. I had a shower this morning and after shampooing my hair, the polish didn't wear off. It was a very clean job and yet, no "murder case" was committed. I highly appreciate that because I am diabetic. I avoid getting wounds in any way.

If you are living or working within Novaliches, Fairview or North Caloocan, and you are looking for a quality salon, why don't you try Danielle Salon? It is located along Quirino Highway, across UNO Fuel (gas station) and in front of La Mesa Dam. Coming from SM Fairview, take a jeepney going to Amparo or Tungko. Ask to be dropped off La Mesa Dam and you'll immediately notice their signage.

Spice Body Spa and Hair Salon Celebrated 1 Year of Giving Superb and Affordable Services

It's good to know that there is a modern spa and salon sitting at the heart of the city; dedicated in giving not only good service but special care to beauty enthusiasts like me. You'd definitely get the impression that they are very meticulous when it comes to doing their jobs just by looking at the entrance itself.

SPICE Body Spa and Hair Salon celebrated its 1st year anniversary last September 18, 2014. It's been a peaceful celebration but enough to make us feel the warm welcome from all the staff. The food served is great but surprisingly, it hasn't come from a professional caterer. The manager of the business is the one who cooked all those tasty dishes. Isn't that sweet?

I felt truly honored to meet Koko Maru at the celebration, the humble marketing manager of SPICE Body Spa and Hair Salon. He hesitated a lot then to pose before the camera; thinking that he wouldn't look good. However, he did look great on this shot.

While touring the place, I've watched how the beauty salon staff serviced this beautiful customer and I am truly impressed. Several hair experts were attending to her instead of just one. This is how they do it at SPICE; they make sure that their customers will get the best salon experience of their lives.

They take pride in their signature natural body spa treatment, which is just one of the services they offer in the spa. Lovers of natural products would surely delight in this and crave for more once they've experience this beauty regimen.

One of their beauty salon equipment that caught my attention is the digital perm machine. I've always been dying to have big curls because I am sure they will look great on me. Digital Perm is a sophisticated technology that thermally reconditions the hair, creating whatever kind of texture you want your curls to have, from loose waves to retro-style. I've tried this before and my hair looked shiny, smooth and soft after the treatment.

In addition to all the good things I've witnessed inside the establishment, let me just add this; Spice Body Spa and Hair Salon regularly offers exciting and irresistible promos both women and men would surely love to try.

Their location is precisely strategic and not very close to the toxic spots of the sphere. You wouldn't have a hard time finding the place. It's just across Max Restaurant Scout Tuazon Branch. It's very near ABS-CBN and GMA Network; hence, if you are working or residing near the area, you should definitely pay a visit to SPICE Body Spa and Hair Salon and experience their first class but very affordable services.

I do have a treatment schedule with them some time this week. I am excited at what kind of pampering I will get from their award winning hairdressers. I will definitely write about my experience with them on my review blog.

The Union Station Barbershop's Unforgetable Opening Night

September 16, 2014 marked the opening of The Union Station Barbershop, a New York inspired barbershop located at the second floor of The Link, Makati Ave. If you think barbershops are only for men, it's time to change that perception. This one is also for women. In fact, it is a bonding place for the whole family where they can share wonderful moments together.

The celebration was not simple. In fact, it was a gala night where great food and drinks were served. There is no doubt that the event was given so much time and effort to make everyone feel special - a reflection of how you will be treated when you step your feet at the station.

After a while, a mini fashion show that featured top models was held; and the hair experts of TUSB also participated in the program. They were shown fixing the hair of the models as they do the catwalk. Now, I find that really cute.

That was also my first time to meet Lourd Ramos in person; the ever-creative salon specialist and the driving force behind the success of Creations. I was surprised when he immediately approached me and said, "Hi! I know you." He dazzled that night with his warm smile, not showing any sign of tiredness while accommodating every guest.

There was an innovative photo booth by Baicapture where everyone can pose and get copies of their pics. It has a screen that will let you know if it's time to "Say Cheese" and show you a preview of the images taken before they get printed.

The bloggers were given loot bags and discounted to free services to experience the majestic and innovative accommodations of the barbershop. Ross Del Rosario of Wazzup Pilipinas was given a sample of singeing, which is part of The Union Station Barbershop's inventive haircutting procedure. They said that this technique came to the Philippines for the very first time. Thanks to The Union Station Barbershop for introducing it to us.

It hasn't been a very long night. Everything is fast paced but it surely is memorable. I am honored to be a part of this once in a lifetime event that gave birth to a station that is unlike any other.
